CHARLOTTE, NC ­– On Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016, the Komen Charlotte Race for the Cure®, historically one of the largest and most successful races in the southeast, returns to Marshall Park for its 20th anniversary. Last year, with Category 4 Hurricane Joaquin pounding the Atlantic, heavy wind and rain whipping the east coast, and high
